One of the most popular and most commonly used industries. The products of the music industry surround us every day, wether it be trough the radio in our cars, elevator, I-pods, mp3's, cd's, etc music surrounds us. All of society outside of the industry only see the products of this marvolous industry. They see the singers, bands, and dancers. But what they dont see are the people woring behind the scenes. The industry is not only limited to the singers, songwriters or recording studios, it is connected to a wide variety of things that connect to our everyday life. Many do not know how to be introduced or rather, come into the music business. However with an online degree in music, entering the music business will be that much easier. A degree will allow you to possibly work in music management, musical education, music therapist, and recording and publishing just to name a few. In your courses you can limit yourself to a specific genre or some other musical field.
